Pentax announced not only the M40 camera, but also Optio E40 digital camera. Pentax Optio E40 is also a 8 Megapixel camera, it features 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. It comes with digital Shock Reduction feature.
E40 has a 2.4-inch LCD display and 10MB internal memory while there is also a SD/SDHC card slot. E40 measures 94x 60x 24 mm and weighs 175g.
