Sony offers the HDR-SR8 AVCHD digital camcorder which is similar to another model Sony is launching, the SR5c. The Sony HDR-SR8 features also the Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* lens with 10x optical 20x digital zoom and the 3.2 Megapixel CMOS image sensor. It has the Super SteadyShot optical image stabilization and it comes with a 100GB hard drive for video recording.
Sony HDR-SR8 is going to be shipped on July 9 and it is now available for pre-prder for $1,599.99.
