Sony will ship the new HD camcorder, HDR-SR5C on or before 9 July. Sony HDR-SR5C features a1/3″ ClearVid 2 Megapixel CMOS Sensor, Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* Lens, 10x optical zoom and 80x digital zooom.
The Sony HDR-SR5C has a built-in 100GB hard drive and it supports also external memory with the Memory Stick Duo card slot. Other features include a 2.7-inch Wide LCD touchscreen, Super SteadyShot Picture Stabilization System, Super NightShot Infrared System, Dolby Digital 5.1ch Recording, Smooth Slow Recording and USB 2.0 interface.
The Sony HDR-SR5C is now available for Pre-order for $1,299.99 USD.
