Samsung introduces two new smartphones, the SGH-i520 and SGH-i600, at the 3GSM World Congress. Actually, we have see the i600 before, it is the same as the Samsung BlackJack (except BlackJack has no WiFi) in the US.
The Samsung i520 is a slim slider phone running Symbian OS Version 9.2 (S60 3 rd Edition Feature Package spec 1). It features a 2.3-inch 320×240 LCD display, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, and USB 2.0 connection. The phone has media player for playing MP3/AAC/AAC+/Real/WMA music and MPEG4/H.263/Real/H.264 videos. It supports 1.8Mbps HSDPA and comes with Full HTML browser. The i520 measures 101.7 x 50.5 x 17.9 mm, weighs 99g.
The SGH-i600 is the first model in Samsung’s Ultra Messaging line. According to the company, it is the thinnest 3G smartphone to have full QWERTY keyboard. The handset runs Windows Mobile 5.0 and support web applications such as podcasting and RSS Reader. Bluetooth 2.0 and WiFi connectivity are included.
