Ricoh presents the 500SE, a digital camera with GPS support. THe Ricoh 500SE has a 3 Megapixle image sensor and 28mm Wide-angle 3X optical zoom. You can transfer your pictures in 500SE to your PC via Bluetooth (or WiFi if you’ve got the WiFi version).
The Ricoh is waterproof and shock-resistant and it supports Shake Blur Reduction, 1cm Macro and has a 2.5-inch LCD display.
The price for Ricoh 500SE is £549.99 and £599.99 for the WiFi version.
Once the captured “geo-images” and “geo-video” files are transferred to a PC, they are automatically converted to shape files or merged into geo- databases for instant integration into Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Points representing each file’s position may be hovered over to display a thumbnail of the file, or clicked on to access the original image or video.
