Bill Gates shows OQO model 02 UMPC at the CES. The OQO model 02 UMPC is boosted by a VIA C7M ULV 1.2 GHz or 1.5GHz processor, 512MB or 1GB DDR2 RAM, a 30GB or 60GB hard drive. The OQO 02 comes with a 5-icch VGA 800×480 LCD touchscreen, a new ergonomic sliding backlit keyboard, and an integrated capacitive TouchScrollers for horizontal and vertical scrolling. It is also equipped with active digitizer for use with optional digital pen.
The UMPC supports Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and A2DP support as well as optional CDMA EVDO mobile connectivity. It provides HDMI output and VGA output, both support up to 1920×1200 resolution, and features DisplaySense for detection and recall of external display settings. The mini PC also packs hardware AES encryption engine and integrated TPM 1.2 (Trusted Platform Module). It is housed in a rugged magnesium alloy chassis
Model 02 runs Windows Vista. Its price starts at $1500.
