Casio announced the EXILIM Hi-ZOOM EX-V7 which is the world’s smallest 7X optical digital camera. Measuring 2.35×3.76×0.98-inch, the 7.2 Megapixel camera sports a non-protruding 7X internal optical zoom lens. It also features CCD shift system and Anti Shake DSP for reducing camera shake to deliver blur-free images. It also packs EXILIM Engine 2.0 image processor to deliver high quality images.
The V7’s Auto Tracking AF function follows moving subjects, keeping them continuously in focus until the photo is taken. Using H.264 video encoding, the camera can capture high-quality movies and Electronic camera shake compensation is included to reduce blur when shooting movies. The 7x zoom EXILIM comes with 33 Best Shot Modes for taking great shots easily. There is a special eBay Best Shot mode that lets users take photos for selling items on eBay.
The EX-V7 uses SD/SDHC and MMC cards for storage. It has a 2.5-inch LCD display. The price is $399.99 and the camera will be available in March.
