Motorola MOTOMING Linux Phone now with EDGE

Motorola announced its upgrade to the MOTOMING smartphone, the MOTOMING with EDGE.

The new Motorola MOTOMING now comes with EDGE support. Powered by Intel’s Xscale PXA270 processor, the MOTOMING EDGE runs Linux OS. It features a 2.4-inch color resistive touch display, a 2 Megapixel camera with ability to scan business cards and video capture. Intended for business users, the phone also comes with business card reader and document reader. Its dual-language “talking” dictionary allows users to enter a word in one language, and have it spoke in a foreign language.

Motorola MOTOMING EDGE

The EDGE-enabled MOTOMING features Chinese handwriting input support. It comes pre-loaded with RealPlayer Media Player supporting MP3, XMF, WMA v9, AAC+, WAV formats and built-in FM radio. The phone supports Bluetooth and microSD memory card.
