Sharp Japan shows us a new 5-megapixel CCD camera module for mobile phones. Of course it can not be compare to the 10 Megapixel camera phone from Samsung, but the Sharp LZ0P3770 module is the first of its kind to feature 3X optical linear zoom with auto focus. Sharp is going to put it one production in January and the price will be $172.
