Lite-on reveals its external Blu-ray Disc writer, the which uses USB2.0 interface. It supports writing recordable (BD-R) and rewritable (BD-RE) discs, both single- and dual-layer at 2x speed. It also writes DVD+/-R/RW, but not CD-R/RW. It is going to ship later this year.
