Matsushita announced that it succeeded in the development of the SDHC card of 4GB which will be part of the SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity). The new SDHC Standard, also knownas SD memory card standard Ver2.00 allows the capacity to be increased up to 32GB. SD Ver2.0 features FAT32 file system and the speed are classified into 3 classes namely ‘Class2 (2MB/sec)’, ‘Class4 (4MB/sec)’, ‘Class6 (6MB/sec)’.

The Panasonic 4GB SDHC will release globally in the Summer 2006.
