D-Link announced the MainStage DHD-131 adapter for Intel Wireless Display, which allows users to enjoy and share content from laptops on an HDTV wirelessly. The adapter supports Intel’s WiDi 2.0 technology meaning it can handle 1080p HD video signal and 5.1-channel digital surround sound.
The MainStage connects to your HDTV via HDMI or A/V connector. With a simple push of a button, the adapter connects to your home network and you can then stream content from a WiDi-enabled notebook or other devices in your home network. You can also surf the web.
Coming in July, the D-Link DHD-131 is priced at $129.99.
