Sagem Binder e-Book Reader gets WiFi and 3G

Sagem Wireless announced its new Binder, an ultra light e-book reader with built-in 3G and WiFi connectivity. The Binder has a 6-inch Sipix epaper display with capacitive touch and accelerometer for automatic screen rotation. It’s 2GB internal memory is enough for storing up to 12,000 non-illustrated books while it also supports microSD/SDHC memory cards.

The Sagem Binder supports not only WiFi but also GPRS/EDGE and WCDMA 3G cellular network allowing user to receive on-demand the latest magazines and newspapers direct to the device. The reader supports TXT, ePub, PDF, HTML files as well as JPEG, PNG, BMP images and MP3 audio files. It measures 152mm x 123mm x 10.7mm and weighs less than 240g.

Sagem Binder is available at FNAC, a French retailer, as FnacBook for Euro 199.
