Sony is launching a new slim external DVD writer, the DRX-S77U that is 19mm thick. The new burner writes DVD+/-R at 8X, DVD+/-R DL at 6X, DVD+RW at 8X, DVD-RW at 6X, DVD-RAM at 5X and CD-R/RW at 24X.
The Sony DRX-S77U use USB 2.0 interface and has 2MB cache memory and buffer under-run protection. It comes with Nero 9 burning software. The sleek DVD writer is available in Black, White, Pink and Gold.
