Magellan releases the RoadMate 1700 GPS navigation device through BestBuy. The RoadMate 1700 features a 7-inch touchscreen display and a WAAS (Wide Area Augmentation Systemcomes) GPS receiver that enhances performance in heavy cloud cover, wooded areas and canyon.
The RoadMate 1700 comes pre-loaded with base maps of United States, Canada and Puerto Rico and over 6 million points of interest. It includes Highway lane assist, AAA Tourbook, Route planning and Multidestination routing.
The Magellan RoadMate 1700 comes with rechargeable lithium-ion battery and a microSD card slot for expansion. It is priced at $299.99.
