Apple previewed its upcoming Mac Pro professional desktop at the WWDC. The Mac Pro receives its first redesign and will come with more powerful hardware components when it is released later this year. As you can see, the new Mac Pro has a cylindrical chassis that look pretty sleek.<\/p>\n

According to Apple, the new Mac Pro is designed with a unified thermal core that can efficiently share it thermal capacity. Instead of multiple heatsinks, you can find a single piece of extruded aluminum which is designed to maximize airflow as well as thermal capacity, and a large fan to pull air upward through a bottom vent.<\/p>\n

The new 9.9-inch tall Mac Pro will sport next gen Intel Xeon E5 processor, dual AMD FirePro workstation-class GPUs and four-channel ECC 1866 MHz DDR3 memory with up to 60GBps of memory bandwidth. You can expect up to 4 Thunderbolt 2 ports and four USB 3.0 ports as well as HDMI, dual Gigabite Ethernet LAN port. Bluetooth 3.0 and 802.11ac WiFi are included.<\/p>\n

The new Mac Pro will be assembled in the US.<\/p>\n
