UK company Ergo Electronics has just introduced its new GoNote Mini, a 7-inch Android tablet\/netbook hybrid. Designed to be the first computer for your school-child, the hybrid offers access to learning apps and games on Google Play, and allows kids to learn and play in a fun way. Instead of tablet form factor, the clamshell device uses a notebook form factor, featuring a child-friendly QWERTY silicon keyboard in chiclet style, and a mouse button for navigation.<\/p>\n

The GoNote Mini also sports a 7-inch 800×480 capacitive touchscreen with LED-backlit and 5-point multitouch. With a 2 Megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera, the device is also your child’s first camera for taking pictures to share with you. The 7-inch Android 4.0 netbook<\/a> is powered by a 1.2GHz Allwinner A10 processor and 1GB of RAM. As for connectivity, you can expect WiFi 802.11n, full USB 2.0, mini USB 2.0 and mini HDMI 1.3 video output ports. There are also 4GB internal storage and a microSD expansion slot.<\/p>\n

Coming in mid-April, the GoNote mini will be available for GBP 99. The company will also release the 10-inch GoNote 2, which packs a dual-core CU, 16GB storage and Android Jelly Bean. It is priced at GBP 149.<\/p>\n
