Motorola brings to Brazil the new DEFY PRO, its first life-proof QWERTY Android smartphone<\/a> designed for active professionals. Joining the phone maker’s DEFY line, the PRO model is water-resistant, dust-proof, and has a scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass to protect the display. Along with QWERTY keyboard, the DEFY PRO has four physical Android buttons instead of touch-sensitive Android buttons found on Motorola’s another QWERTY smartphone,\u00a0DROID PRO<\/a>. There are also call and hang up buttons.

Compare to DROID PRO, the DEFY PRO looks more like a BlackBerry smartphone with its wider form factor. The handset features a 2.7-inch touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash, a front-facing camera, Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi connectivity and a microSD card slot. It also supports DLNA for wireless media streaming.<\/p>\n

Motorola’s rugged QWERTY phone offers three Views to help plan your activities – the Outdoor View that will tell you the weather, the Hiking View that makes use of GPS for navigation so you can always make it back home, and the Workout View that monitors your workout. Motorola will release the DEFY PRO in Brazil on 15 July.<\/p>\n
