ZTE introduces at the MWC 2012 in Barcelona a quad-core smartphone, the Era with a ultra slim form factor. At just 7.8mm thick, the Era packs NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 quad-core mobile processor, which features the unique 4-PLUS-1 quad-core architecture with a fifth battery saver core to better battery life. The quad-core device will be shipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.<\/p>\n

ZTE’s Era features a 4.3-inch 960×540 touchscreen, 8GB internal memory, a 8 Megapixel auto focus camera with 1080p video recording and LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. Thanks to NVIDIA’s Icera 450 HSPA+ modem, which can also be found on ZTE’s Mimosa X<\/a>, the Era works on GSM, EDGE, WCDMA 3G as well as HSPA+ mobile networks. The phone also supports WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS connectivity.<\/p>\n

The ZTE Era also comes with DLNA support for media streaming and MHL for HDMI output. It also features HD Voice and Dolby sound.<\/p>\n
