Axis Communications announced its M50 series, the world’s smallest, ceiling mount pan\/tilt\/zoom (PTZ) dome network cameras with HDTV performance. The new M50 cameras offer 360-degree surveillance (\u00b1180\u02da pan, 90\u00b0 tilt and 3x digital zoom) with up to HDTV 720p resolution, and are designed to offer security directors and business managers a highly discreet and affordable surveillance solution for monitoring indoor areas. Two models are available, the M5013 with SVGA 800×600 resolution and the M5014 with HDTV-standard 720p resolution.
