A/V cable maker Accell has added to its line of HDMI adapter the new UltraAV DisplayPort 1.1 to HDMI 1.4 active adapter. With this adapter, you can connect a DisplayPort-equipped computer to a HDMI display. It is compliant to Displayport 1.1 and HDMI 1.4b, and is also compatible with DisplayPort 1.2 High Bit Rate (HBR).
The adapter supports up to Ultra HD 4K and 1080p at 120Hz resolution, and stereoscopic 3D with up to 300MHz clock rate. It is AMD Eyefinity-certified to provide optimal display when using AMD’s Eyefinity technology. Support for uncompressed 8-channel audio is included as well.
