German firm Loewe is launching in the Europe market a new premium Bluetooth speaker. With the name Speaker 2go, it is obviously design for users to enjoy music on-the-go. The portable speaker supports both NFC and Bluetooth. The NFC capabilities allows users to pair their NFC-enabled Android devices to the speaker with a simple tap, while Bluetooth is used for wireless music streaming and apt-X codec is included for enhanced Bluetooth sound quality.
Inside the aluminum casing, you can find two 10-watt combined mid-range driver/tweeters and a 20-watt woofer and three digital class D amplifiers to deliver a total of 40-watt power and 2.1-channel stereo sound. There also a bass reflex tube for enhanced bass and an integrated table stand flex to ensure a set-up angle of 7.5 degrees for optimal sound distribution.
With integrated voice-optimized microphone, the Speaker 2go is not just a speaker but also a hands-free system for handling phone calls. Echo cancellation is included for high quality sound. The built-in lithium polymer batteries offers up to 8 hours of non-stop music playback. You can also find a 3.5mm jack for wired connection and a cable is included.
Coming in June, the Loewe’s Speaker 2go will be available for GBP269. A carrying bag is included.
