ViewSonic introduces two new interactive, ultra short-throw projectors, the PJD8653ws and PJD8353s. Both models are network-ready and can be used with the company’s interactive package. The PJD8653ws features WXGA 1280×800 resolution and the PJD8353s can deliver 1024×768 images. They have 3000 lumens brightness, and 15,000:1 contrast ratio.
Using reflective mirror technology, these DLP projectors can be mounted above an interactive white board or wall for the projection. They can be used with the optional PJ-PEN-003 interactive package with IR camera module and interactive drawing software to turn any surface into an interactive whiteboard. Users can use two interactive pens at the same time to digitally write, draw and annotate on images, then save content as JPEG files to circulate via email.
ViewSonic’s new projectors come with Crestron LAN controller for easy remote control and management and they are certified with AMX Device Discovery for easy integration. You can find HDMI, D-sub, Component, composite inputs and RJ45 network port and RS-232 control port.
PJD8653ws and PJD8353s are priced at $1199 and $1079m respectively. The PJ-PEN-003 interactive package is available for $299.
