Nokia adds to its Asha family with the new Asha 210 designed to bring your social life at your fingertips. As ‘the most social Asha’, the handset comes pre-loaded with WhatsApp (with lifetime service for free) for instant messaging and has a dedicated WhatsApp button for quick access. The QWERTY keyboard lets your type quickly and accurately and the Facebook and Twitter apps allows you to keep connected with friends and family.

The Asha 210 features a 2 Megapixel camera with a dedicated camera button. The self-portrait mode enables users to take perfectly centred self portraits, without the need for a front camera. Photos can be edited directly from the camera app. To make sharing photo and other content easy and quick, the phone also supports Nokia’s Slam, enabling transfer of content to another Bluetooth device without the need for pairing (watch the video below). There is pre-loaded YouTube launcher for direct video streaming.

The social Asha sports a 2.4-inch display with 320×240 resolution, Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity and a microSD slot for expansion. It comes with only support 2G GSM mobile network, and the Dual-SIM model will include the EasySwap technology that allows users to change SIM cards without having to turn off the device. The single-SIM mobile can provide up to 46 days of standby and the dual-SIM version offers up to 24 days.

Shipping in Q2, the phone will be priced at US$72. It comes in black, white, yellow, cyan and magenta.
