Panasonic launches its first streaming media player, the DMP-MS10. Like other media streamers, Panasonic’s device allows users to enjoy online streaming content from services such as Netflix, CinemaNOW, Hulu Plus, Vudu, YouTube and Amazon Video On Demand. It provides Ethernet LAN connection and built-in WiFi connectivity for Internet connection.
The MS10 also supports Miracast, an AirPlay-like technology, that allows you to stream media content from your Miracast-enabled Android smartphones and tablets to a big-screen HDTV. It also includes DNLA support for streaming from DLNA-capable devices, including home theater systems, smartphones, tablets, computers and network drives. The USB port allows direct playback of FLAC, WAV, WMA, ACC, MP3, MKV, MP4, JPEG media files.
The DMP-MS10 supports Dolby Digital Plus and DTS 2.0 Plus digital audio decoding and offers HDMI output. It is priced at $79.99.
