Korg launches the new Volca series of analog synthesizers, including the Volca Keys, Volca Bass and Volca Beats with built-in sequencers to generate the “ultimate analog leads, basses, and rhythms”. With compact design and built-in speaker, these devices are easy to carry and allow users to perform any time. They have SYnc jack and MIDI in connector for synchronized performance with multiple units. The Keys and Bass also includes Self-tuning function for constant and stable pitch.
The Volca Keys is a 27-key lead synthesizer with polyphonic analog sound engine and loop sequencer. Its voicing function lets anyone create sound easily and the effect effect allows for more sonic possibilities. The loop sequencer allows users to record phases just as they play them and the Active Step function and Flux function add dynamic changes to sequences.
The Volca Bass is an analogue bass machine with three analogue oscillators for thick, huge bass line, newly designed analog filter for crisp, bright response and simple structure with single VCF, VCA, LFO, and EG. It features an electribe-style 16-step sequencer with eight memory patches and Active Stel function to generate new bass lines by removing or inserting steps.
The Volca Beats rhythm machine allows users to create real analog sound with reference to classic rhythm machines. It sports six editable analogue parts with one knob per function for easy editing and PCM sound engine. Like the Bass, it also has electribe-style 16-step sequencer with eight memory patches and Active Step function. It also adds Step Jump function that instantly plays only the step you’re pressing.
Each of Volca Keys, Volca Bass and Volca Beats is available for $149.99.
