Pico projector maker AAXA Technologies comes back with its new P2 Jr pico projector. Compare to the original P2, the new model offers higher brightness, but produce smaller images. It is powered by the company’s tiny 4024 light engine to deliver 55 lumens of brightness. Through its mini HDMI input, the projector accepts HD video input of up to 1920x1080p resolution, and able to project images of 10 to 50-inch.
The P2 Jr is based on DLP display technology and sports 15,000 hour LEDs. It has 1000:1 contrast ratio. The built-in media player of the pocket projector supports direct playback of MP3, MP4, AVI, BMP, JPG, GIF and TXT files from microSD card or USB flash drive. The internal li-ion battery can provide over 2 hours of playback and it can operate in DC power mode as well. In addition to mini HDMI, the device also offers mini VGA and composite A/V inputs and 3.5mm audio jack.
Shipping on 30 April, the P2 Jr is priced at $199.
