Samsung launches the NX1100 smart mirrorless interchangeable lens camera in the US market, replacing the NX1000. The compact camera sports a 20.3 Megapixel APS-C CMOS image sensor and features fast shutter speeds of up to 1/4000 seconds and ISO 100-12800 sensitivity. It comes bundled with Lightroom 4 software for users to import, manage, enhance and showcase their images easily.
The NX1100, like its predecessor, comes with built-in WiFi connectivity that allows you to connect the it with iOS or Android smartphones or tablets with SMART Camera App. Once connected, you can browse and transfer images and videos from the camera using your smartphone or tablet. There are also AutoShare that will automatically send photos and videos to mobile device, and Remote Viewfinder for controlling the camera from a smart device.
The NX1100 includes Smart Auto mode and Scene detection technology that will analyzes, identifies and automatically selects the most appropriate scene mode for the best results, allowing users to capture good shots easily. You can also find Smart Filters, Selective Color, 3D Panorama, as well as Full Manual Control. It is also capable of 8fps continuous shooting and Full HD video recording. It gets a 3-inch LCD display.
Samsung’s NX1100 is available in black and white and is priced at $599, including the Samsung 20-50mm f/3.5-5.6 ED II lens and SEF8A external flash.
