Lenovo made its S920 official, putting it up to its online store for pre-order starting from 1 April. The S920 is a over-sized smartphone powered by quad-core chipet. To compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Note II, the phone gets a huge 5.3-inch 720p HD touchscreen with a slim bezel. Another noticeable thing of the handset, as you can see on the picture below, is the design of its back, which is almost identical to that of HTC’s One X. The front of it doesn’t look like though.
Lenovo’s 5.3-inch phablet is super slim at 7.9mm and weighs 156g. It is powered by MediaTek’s MT6589 quad-core 1.2Ghz processor and 1GB of RAM. You can expect a 8 Megapixel main camera with flash and a 2 Megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. There are 4GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for addition storage capacity. The phone supports GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi. A 2250mAh battery is included for extended hours of use. Did I mention its 5.3-inch display has 1280x720p HD resolution?
The S920 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and comes with Lenovo’s custom UI. It will be shipped on 8 April for 2199 Chinese Yuan (US354).
