While the helium is mophie’s thinnest battery case, the new juice pack air is slightly thicker yet packs a bigger battery for extended battery life. The new air is also lighter and thinner than previous generations. Like other battery cases, it protects the iPhone 5 from wear and tear, and its refined outer band and smooth finish makes it comfortable to hold whol day.
The new juice pack air sports a 1700mAh battery to double the battery life of the iPhone 5, offering 10 additional hours of talk time on 3G, 8 hours of additional Internet use on 3G and 10 more hours of video playback. Its Lightninig pass-through allows users to charge both the iPhone 5 and juice pack together using the included micro USB cable. There is a LED battery indicator to tell your how much juice is left, and simple switch allows users to switch between standby and charging modes easily. The case supports Fast Charge that can deliver 1A charging output for rejuice your iPhone faster.
The juice pack air for iPhone 5, like its brothers, also serve as a virtual speaker box that redirects sound from the bottom of the phone to the front for richer, fuller sound quality. The battery case is available in monochromatic soft touch black, glossy white and metallic red in collaboration with Product (RED). The price is $99.95.
