Israeli company Accel Telecom introduces its VOYAGER, a connected car smartphone running Android software. The car-centric device is designed to be the smartphone for your car featuring a range of driver-friendly features for a safer driving experience.
While most Android devices are full-touch, the VOYAGER has dedicated large keys for safe operation, in addition to its touchscreen. The Android device also features a dedicated Waze launcher key for easy navigation, hands-free dialing, voice activation, high level noise reduction and echo cancelation for enhanced safe driving. The phone can connect the the car on-board diagnostics (OBD) via RS-232 or Bluetooth to allow car diagnostics, fleet management applications.
The VOYAGER smartphone for car supports HSUPA mobile network and includes WiFi hotspot connectivity.
