Gresso has crafted another luxury device, the Cruiser Titanium that the company said is the world’s first polished titanium mobile phone. The handset has a single-piece case created from the type of titanium used in aerospace industry, which has been hand polished for 16 hours, offering smooth surface and metal strength. With titanium case, the phone feels warm in hand and withstands extreme loads, resists dents and twists. has a coal-black glossy front and back glass panels for an elegant look and feel.
Instead of going touchscreen, Gresso decided to keep the bar-type classic mobile phone design on the Cruiser Titanium. It has a keyboard cut from steel with each key button polished by hand for a smoky gloss. The front and back panel of the luxury device are solid tempered glass plates which has been tinted to a deep black color.
As a phone, the Titanium Cruiser is pretty basic. It has a 2 Megapixel camera, built-in music player and supports Bluetooth 2.0 and tri-band GSM networks. Symbian S40 software is used. Only 555 units of the phone have been made and each unit will have its own unique number engraved. The price is $2500.
