We saw the Ultrathin Keyboard mini from Logitech yesterday and today Belkin brings us another choice. And the company said that its new offering FastFit (model F5L153tt-C00) is the thinnest and lightest keyboard case for the iPad mini. Measuring 7mm thick and built with anodized aircraft-grade aluminum, the keyboard case is even thinner and lighter than Apple’s smaller tablet. With this kind of keyboard case, you can make your iPad work like a laptop.
The FastFit uses low-powered Bluetooth 3.0 to connect with the iPad mini. It features laptop-style TruType keyboard with well-spaced keys for typing accuracy, and Belkin says that each key has a spring mechanism that provides tactile feedback when struck, enabling fast, intuitive, and comfortable typing. The built-in stand can hold the mini iPad in both portrait and landscape modes. The case uses magnets to snap to the iPad mini and features auto-wake/sleep that will turn the iPad on/off when you open/close the case.
Belkin’s FastFit is equipped with 200mAh battery that claims to provide 155 hours of active use. It is available for $79.99.
