The keyboard on BlackBerry devices is iconic and some people just really love the keyboard. RIM Blackberry did not forget about them. Along with the all-touch Z10, the company also introduces a keyboard-equipped BB10 smartphone for those who want/need a physical keyboard. Called BlackBerry Q10, the handset sports a QWERTY keyboard and also a 3.1-inch touchscreen.
As for hardware specs, the Q10 is pretty similar to the Z10. It packs the same 1.5GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal flash memory, 8 Megapixel camera with 1080p video, 2 Megapixel front camera with 720p video, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, dual-band WiFi 802.11n, NFC support as well as micro HDMI output and microSD card slot (up to 64GB card supported). The smartphone’s 3.1-inch Super AMOLED display has a 720×720 resolution at 330ppi, and the 35-key QWERTY keyboard has backlight so you can still type accurately in dark environments.
The Q10 supports 4G LTE and HSPA+ mobile network and is global-ready. It measures 119.6 x 66.8 x 10.25mm and is slightly heavier than Z10 at 139g. We can expect to see the Q10, in black and white, hitting the store in April.
