Panasonic introduces two new personal workgroup document scanners, the KV-S1026C and KV-S1015C ideal for small and medium businesses looking to achieve a paperless office or digital filing system. Both of them are built to provide enterprise-grade performance in a compact body that conveniently fit into small spaces.
Panasonic KV-S1026C
With a 50-sheet ADF, Panasonic’s new scanners sport Active Double-Feed Prevention Roller System and the Ultrasonic Double-Feed Detection sensor to detect and prevent double feeding, even with high volume documents or a mixed batch. To prevent document jams, they have right and left independent feed roller and a Straight Paper Path. The KV-S1026C and KV-S1015C are capable of high-speed scanning at 30ppm/60ipm and 20ppm/40ipm, respectively.
The KV-S1026C comes bundled with Panasonic Image Capture Plus software for easy scanning, image previewing, exporting to searchable PDF, TIFF or JPEG files as well as Zone OCR. The KV-S1015C, on the other hand, gets Presto! PageManager 9 for converting documents to searchable PDF files. The former is priced at $595 and the latter has a lower price at $495.
