Logitech introduces its UC Solution for Cicso 725-C Jabber Unified Communications software client. The solution three Logitech products together, including the UC Keyboard K725C, C920-C webcam and M525-C wireless mouse, to works with Cisco’s software that gives access to presence, instant messaging (IM), voice, video, voice messaging, desktop sharing and collaboration.
The K725-C keyboard is a enterprise-grade keyboard with dedicated keys for managing Jabber calls. The 9 dedicated phone and video control keys make answering, ending and muting calls, and adjusting volume easy. The call answer/end key will blink to show incoming calls, and the voicemail-message key will glow steadily to indicate when new messages are waiting. The keyboard also has a built-in LCD display that shows incoming caller ID as well as status and information.
Along with the keyboard, the C920-C webcam and M525-C mouse are also included in the package. The former is a Full HD 1080p webcam with a wide 78-degree field of view, omni-directional dual stereo microphone, and RightLight 2 technology that automatically compensates for poor lighting conditions. It delivers Full HD video at 30fps and comes with onboard h.264 encoding technology for video processing within the camera. The M525-C is a ergonomically-shaped wireless mouse with micro-precise scroll wheel. It comes with a Logitech Unifying USB receiver.
The Logitech UC Solution for Cisco 725-C, as a whole, is going to be released in March for $269.99. The C920-C webcam will be available separately for $109.99. All items will come in black and white.
