Griffin Technology brings to the CES 2013 its new line of power accessories. The most eye-catching one is the PowerDock 5, a charging station that is capable of charging up to five iPad at the same time. The space-saving countertop PowerDock 5 is not just a charging station but also a storage solution that it has five charging bays big enough to accommodate iPad with case.

The PowerDock 5 provides five USB charging ports and clear backrest. Not just iPad, the charging station basically works with most smartphones, tablets and USB-powered devices, as long as you have suitable charging cable. Each of the charging port offer 10 watts/2.1 amps output, capable of charging power-hungry iPad and other tablets. This 5-port charging dock will be released this Spring for $99.99.

Along with the PowerDock 5, Griffin also introduces the PowerBlock Universal and PowerJolt Universal, both with ChargeSensor technology that can sense the power requirements of any device plugged into it, providing optimal charging for all USB-chargeable devices.

The former has a low profile design for plugging into power strips and plugs. It supports 100-240 volts AC power and offers 10-watt charging. The PowerJolt Universal also has a low profile plug for the car’s 12 volt accessory outlet and provides 10-watt charging as well. Its internal SmartFuse protects against power fluctuations as it charges with a built-in circuit breaker. The PowerBlock Universal and PowerJolt Universal will be released in Spring for $29.99 and $24.99, respectively.
