Following LG’s EA93, Dell also introduces its 21:9 ultra-wide LCD display, the UltraSharp U2913WM. The 29-inch display has a 21:9 panoramic aspect ratio and features 2560×1080 Full HD resolution. Based on IPS LCD panel, it is calibrated to provide precise and accurate colors, supporting over 99 percent sRGB color space at a delta-E of less than 5. With 178/178-degree wide viewing angle, Dell’s 21:9 monitor offers consistent and accurate color and images from virtually any angle.
The U2913WM uses LED backlight and features 1000:1 typical contrast ratio, 2 Million:1 dynamic contrast, 300cd/m2 brightness and 8ms GTG response time. Users can enhnaced their visual experience using the Dell Display Manager. For example, the Smart Video Enhance mode will automatically detect video playing onscreen and enhance its colors and sharpness to optimal settings. The super widescreen display provides a full range of connectivity options, including DVI-D, VGA, HDMI as well as DisplayPort and mini DisplayPort. It also has built-in 4-port USB 3.0 hub.
Dell’s UltraSharp U2913WM comes with a fully adjustable stand with tilt, swivel and height (130mm)adjustment. It is now available for $699.
