Sprint ZTE Flash Smartphone packs 12.6 Megapixel Camera

Sprint launches its new ZTE Flash mid-range Android smartphone that offers “best-in-class camera at a reasonable price”. The Flash sports a huge 12.6 Megapixel main camera with auto focus and LED flash. The camera has ISO 100-800 sensitivity and is capable of 720p video recording. There is also a 1 Megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.

The ZTE Flash is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8960 dual-core 1.5GHz processor with 1GB of RAM. The 4.5-inch touchscreen uses IPS technology and can display 24-bit colors.  Other than Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n, the handset also includes support for NFC (Near Field Communication) technology that allows the device to read information from stickers and posters embedded with NFC chips and to share files easily with other NFC-equipped Android devices. It has 8GB of onboard storage and supports microSD/SDHC up to 32GB.

ZTE Flash runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It is available for $129.99 after $50 mail-in rebate with 2-year contract.
