Verizon Wireless is going to launch in the coming weeks the new Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II smartphone. As the successor to the Stratosphere, the new Stratosphere II keeps the full QWERTY keyboard and comes with some improvements. It supports Verizon’s 4G LTE mobile network and will be available for $129.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate.
The mid-range Galaxy Stratosphere II is powered by a 1.2Ghz dual-core processor and runs Android 3.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It supports Bluetooth, WiFi as well as NFC (Near Field Communication), and the phone is global ready to work on mobile networks in over 200 countries. It also comes with built-in Virtual Private Network (VPN) and supports multi-vendor Mobile Device Management (MDM) and on-device AES 256-bit encryption.
