Cricket Wireless adds to the HTC Desire C to its smartphone lineup, which is a budget-priced model in HTC’s Desire line. The new affordable mobile phone includes the carrier’s Muve Music service and sports Beats Audio technology to deliver cinema-like sound, enhancing the enjoyment of digital music. The entry-level device comes with a 3.5-inch touchscreen display and a 5 Megapixel camera.
The Desire C packs a 600MHz processor and 512MB of RAM, and runs Android 4.0 ICS with Sense 4.0 UI. The phone supports WiFi and Bluetooth. It is available contract-free for $179.99 and can be used with one of Cricket’s three monthly smartphone service plan options starting at $50 per month.
