Here comes yet another Galaxy phone from Samsung, the Galaxy Premier. Sitting between the flagship Galaxy S III and the Galaxy S III Mini, the phone offers advanced hardware and software features at an accessible price, which is ideal for consumers who are looking for a high-performance handset but don’t want to spend too much.
The Galaxy Premier is boosted by a dual-core TI OMAP 4470 1.5Ghz processor and 1GB of RAM. It comes equipped with a 4.65-inch 1280×720 Super AMOLED touchscreen, which is slightly smaller than that of S III. You can find a 8 Megapixel main camera with LED flash and 1080p video, and a 1.9 Megapixel front camera. For connectivity, the phone supports Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, WiFi and NFC.
Running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box, the Galaxy Premier includes many of the features first introduced on the Galaxy S III, such as Smart Stay, Direct Call, Pop-up Play, S Bean and Best Photo. The phone will be available in Russia in November and in Southeast Asia, China and South Korea later. There will be 3G and LTE variants, depending on market.
