AT&T releases the Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro rugged smartphone. Built to meet the Mil-STD 810F standard and rubber skin, the phone is shock and water resistant and dustproof. It is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8960 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM and comes shipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

The new rugged Galaxy sports a 4-inch 480×800 Super AMOLED touchscreen display and its 5 Megapixel auto focus camera is capable of Full HD 1080p video recording. There is also a 1.3 Megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. The Rugby Pro supports not just Bluetooth and WiFi but also NFC (Near Field Communication). You can find 8GB onboard storage and a microSD/SDHC card slot for up to 32GB memory card.

The Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro works on AT&T’s LTE and HSPA+ 4G mobile network and is also compatible with tri-band 3G UMTS and quad-band GSM/EDGE. The rugged Galaxy phone is available for $99.99 with 2-year contract.
