Lenov expands its IdeaPad U-series the new 15-inch U510 Ultrabook, joining the 13-inch U310 and 14-inch U410. At 21mm thick, the U510, as a Ultrabook, is pretty heavy at about 2.2kg. It is powered by 3rd gen Intel Ivy Bridge processor up to Core i7 and up to 8GB of RAM to deliver high performance. The notebook can be equipped with 500GB, 750GB or 1TB hard drive and optional 24/32GB SSD cache drive for enhanced performance.
The 15-inch Ultrabook also managed to pack a DVD burner or Blu-ray drive. It supports Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and comes with integrated webcam and stereo speakers. Lenovo will release the IdeaPad U510 in September with starting price of $679.
