AT&T expands its LTE 4G range with the new Pantech Flex, the carrier’s first smartphone to provide the option to choose between the traditional Android operating mode and a more simplified version ideal for new smartphone users. Running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the handset offers the Easy Experience mode that prioritizes customers’ apps on the home screen in a clearly organized and easy-to-read format. Of course, more advanced users can still use the traditional Android operating mode.
The Pantech Flex boasts a 1.5Ghz dual-core processor. It has a 4.-3inch qHD Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel main camera with 1080p Full HD video recording, a 2 Megapixel front camera as well as Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi connectivity. The SwiftKey keyboard technology is included for easy, accurate and quick typing.
AT&T will release the Pantech Flex on 16 September for $49.99.
