Nikon is launching in September the CoolPix P7700, its new flagship prosumer digital camera. The camera combines a 12.2 Megapixel CMOS highly sensitive sensor and a 7.1x optical zoom NIKKOR ED glass lens with f/2 maximum aperture to deliver great low-light performance. An improved Lens Shift Vibration Reduction is included to minized camera shake for shooting blur-free images. The camera features full manual control (PSAM), 19 unique Scene Modes and Scene Auto Selector, and supports RAW shooting.
Nikon’s P7700 is capable of Full HD 1920×1080 video recording with stereo sound, and is able to auto focus and optical zoom during recording. There is a HDMI mini connector that allows you to show your images and videos on a big screen HDTV. The shooter can also do 8fps high-speed continuos shooting. The in-camerea special effects and filters, such as Nostalgic Sepia, Vivid and Painting, let your create your unique photos.
This new prosumer-level CoolPix features a 3-inch rotatable and swivel vari-angle LCD display with a wide viewing angle and anti-reflection coating. It uses SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards. Nikon will release the P7700 is September for $499.95.
