Micromac, an Indian company, introduces two new Android smartphones, the Superfone Canvas A100 and the Superfone Pixel A90, both with dual-SIM capability. The two Superfones are powered by 1GHz processor and run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. With dual-SIM card slots, you can now have your work and personal numbers on one device, staying connected always.
The Canvas A100 is a bigger device featuring a 5-inch touchscreen. It sports a 5 Megapixel main camera with flash and a 0.3 Megapixel front camera for video calls. The Pixel, though has a smaller 4.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen, gets a higher-resolution 8 Megapixel camera and a 0.3 Megapixel front camera. They have 2000mAh battery and 1600mAh battery respectively, providing up to 5 hours of talk time. Both devices come loaded with the Siri-like A.I.S.H.A – Artificial Intelligence Speech Handset Assistant.
Micromax’s Superfone smartphones support Bluetooth 2.1, GPS and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity and work on quad-band GSM/EDGE and dual-band 900/2100MHz WCDMA 3G mobile networks. They come with 4GB internal storage and supports microSD/SDHC up to 32GB. They Canvas A100 is priced at 9,999 Indian rupee (US$181) while the Pixel A90, with AMOLED screen and 8Mpix camera, is priced at 12,990 Indian rupee ($235).
