Motion Computing brings two new 10-inch tablet PCs, the F5t and the C5t both powered by Intel’s 3rd gen Core (Ivy Bridge) processor. Both models have rugged design, featuring magnesium-alloy internal frame for protection and meeting MIL-STD-810G and IP-54 standards, for protection against the bumps, drops and exposure to dust and moisture. With thin and lightweight form factor, they are easy to carry with built-in handle. The F5t is intended for mobile field productivity while the C5t is designed for healthcare environments.

Motion Computing F5t

The F5t and C5t are powered by choices of Core i3/i5/i7 processors, 2GB/4GB of RAM and integrated Intel HD graphics 4000. They can be equipped with 64GB of 128GB solid state drive. Their 10.4-inch capacitive touchscreen supports dual input – two-finger touch and digitizer pen, and gets Gorilla Glass for durability. Ethernet, Bluetooth and WiFi are standard features, and you may want to add Gobi MC8335 mobile broadband module, and GPS module. You can also find a 3 Megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 Megapixel front camera.

Motion Computing C5t

As business tablets, the F5t and C5t also sport Fingerprint Reader, integrated RFID module and optional Smart Card Reader for security authentication and Barcode Scanner for daa acquistion. The tablets provides up to 6 hours of battery life and supports hot-swap battery for uninterrupted productivity. Other features include USB 3.0 port, integrated speaker and microphone, 5-way directional control button for navigation and VGA output. Both of them run Windows 7 Professional.
