Panasonic will released in early September its new RP-SDAB and RP-SDUB Series UHS-I rated high-speed SDHC and SDXC memory cards. Not only high-speed, these cards are also tough with IPX7 waterproof that protects them from water immersion for 30 minutes at 1 meter depth, X-ray resistant, heat-resistant to withstand -25°C – +85°C temperature range, and impact-resistant to survive in drops. They are also anti-magnetic.
Panasonic’s new SD cards are based on MLC flash memory. The RP-SDAB comes in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB capacities, and offers 95MB/s read and 80MB/s write speeds, while the RP-SDUB adds 64GB SDXC model and delivers 90MB/s read and 45MB/s write performance.
