Miami, Florida-based company BLU Products announced the VIVO 4.3 that claimed to be the world’s first dual-SIM smartphone to have a Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen display. The sleek VIVO has no hardware buttons on the front for a seamless elegant design. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6577 dual-core 1GHz Cortex A9 processor and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
The VIVO has two SIM card slots, and supports dual-standby, meaning both SIMs are active at the same time to receive calls. It supports HSPA/3G and quad-band GSM/EDGE mobile networks. The handset comes with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus 800×480 touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel camera with 720p HD vdeo recording, a 1.3 Megapixel front camera, as well as Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi connectivity. Its 4GB internal memory is probably not enough, so there is a microSD card slot for expansion.
BLU Products plans to release the VIVO 4.3 in September in the US for $249.99.
